Village County Store sells gas, basic groceries, beer and wine, daily prepared
sandwiches and a few antiques. Open 8am – 8pm daily. There is a post
office with UPS and FedEx drop-off. -The Chapel at Big Canoe is a non-denominational congregation with weekly services at 10:30 Sunday mornings. Dress is casual. -Dining options at Big Canoe include Lake Sconti Restaurant,with a full bar, which serves lunch and dinner daily and weekend brunch. Duffers serves sandwiches and snacks at the Golf Club daily. Just outside the north gate, Appalachia is a wonderful restaurant with full bar and something for everyone. With a menu ranging from burgers and wood-fired pizzas to Filet Mignon, Appalachia serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday and lunch in summertime. -Foothills Shopping Center, near the main gate, is home to IGA grocery, Ace Hardware, Trevi Pizzeria, and Fireside Coffee Shop as well as a hair salon and several shopping options. |
